How to Remove WhiteClick Virus (Chrome/Edge/Firefox) | Updated

I wrote this article to help you remove WhiteClick Virus. This WhiteClick Virus removal guide works for Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

If you notice the presence of the WhiteClick app on your browser – you are in trouble. While it may be advertised as a useful program, it is actually an annoying adware pest. You don’t want such a fake utility tool. You will not benefit from its existence on your computer in any way. The truth is, you’ll only be left to deal with the consequences of its malicious actions. Once it has infected your browser, it will move on to monitor your web activity.

WhiteClick is more than capable of stealing your browser history, surfing habits, search queries, as well as passwords, Login ID, credit card numbers, etc. It will obtain your web data so as to generate targeted ads and pop-ups. Such advertisements can often be seen in the form of exclusive deals and offers, special sales and coupons, blinking messages, fake update requests and more. The main goal is to create pay-per-click revenue.

The WhiteClick adware is often distributed via free software bundles, corrupt torrent files and fake update messages. They could also get spread by spam emails and attachments, or dubious links and ads. Is there something you can do to avoid a malware infection? Yes, there is. We recommend our readers to get their software updates from official and reliable sources only. Don’t trust a random pop-up that urges you to follow a suspicious link in order to update a program on your computer.

Also, when downloading content from the internet, it is strongly recommended opting for a Custom or Advanced type of installation. This way you can view the full list of programs and applications included in the bundle and can easily deselect any software that you deem suspicious or never intended to download in the first place.

Adware is not considered to be a real virus because it infects your browser only, not the entire system. Still, that doesn’t mean that it is harmless. As soon as you detect its presence, you must remove it from your computer immediately. With each day that it is left to its own devices, it will generate more and more intrusive ads and pop-ups, until one day your browser will get so overloaded that it will stop working altogether.

In the meantime, you will experience constant crashes every time you try to have a normal browsing experience. Your browser will also frequently freeze, because it will not be able to keep uploading so many advertisements. If you want to have a normal browsing experience and keep your privacy from getting compromised, we suggest that you proceed with the removal of this malicious WhiteClick adware as soon as possible!
