Who hasn’t heard of the Trojan Horse viruses? It is feared by users all over the world. And with good reason. Trojans are known to be incredibly versatile and stealthy. Such virus can easily modify the system so it runs automatically every time you turn on your computer. Once it becomes active, all hell breaks loose. Victims of the Netutils.dll Trojan Horse will notice that the overall performance of their PC will decrease abruptly.

What’s more, one by one, each program and application will run slower than before and even start crashing. The longer this Trojan Horse is left unattended on your computer system, the greater the damage will get. Eventually, every program will stop responding, including important system processes. It is very likely that your personal data will get stolen by the cyber criminals behind this virus.

Trojan Horse infections are mostly distributed through free software bundles and fake update request. It is also possible to get such virus infection via spam emails and attachments, torrent files, dubious links and ads, etc. We advise all our readers to make sure they get their software updates from licensed and reliable sources only. It is a bad idea to just blindly trust a random pop-up that has appeared on your screen. Often such fake update messages redirect victims to dangerous third-party websites that may infect your computer with viruses such as ransomware, worms and Trojan Horses like the Netutils.dll.

Another thing we recommend doing is to always opt for a Custom or Advanced installation when downloading software from the internet. This way you will have control over the entire process and will be able to easily deselect any program or application that you deem unnecessary or never intended to download in the first place.

Trojan Horse is considered to be the most dangerous kind of viruses out there. And with good reason. There is no limit as to what malicious purposes they can be used. Hackers may choose to use them as nasty coin miners that exploit all of your CPU and GPU resources, not to mention how easy it would be for cyber criminals to spy on you.

They can monitor every step you make while browsing the web, as well as see and hear you through your web camera and microphone. And that’s just a taste of the abilities of the Trojan infection. It can severely damage your computer to the point of it showing the blue screen of death.

The thing is, it would’ve managed to steal your private data before this. Imagine information such as passwords, IP addresses, bank accounts, credit card numbers, etc. to fall into the hands of hackers. They may choose to share that data with other third-parties for profit. You don’t want that to happen to you as well, do you?
