The presence of the Mylobot tool on your computer means nothing but trouble. It is a threat that falls into the Trojan Horse category. This virus is incredibly stealthy and versatile – traits of a typical Trojan parasite. At first, this malicious software will start with browser interference. You will get bombarded with attractive ad content that is specifically targeted thanks to your web data that this virus has collected.

The thing is, you will find yourself in such advertisement hell, that having a normal browsing experience will be impossible. As time goes by, this will result in a slow internet speed and browser crashes, because it won’t be able to keep up with all of these adverts emerging non-stop. And that’s just a taste of this Trojan Horse’s abilities. You are in for a hellish ride once you fall into a Trojan’s trap. Often such malicious infection can result to severe security breaches, data theft, not to mention how easy it can be for cyber criminals to spy on you.

It might take some time for the Trojan infection to mobilize and attack your system. Such viruses are masters of deception. How are they able to penetrate your system? With your help, of course. Often users are unaware of what consequences their actions can have. The most common means of Trojan Horse distribution are free software bundles and fake update requests. Users can get also their computers infected through opening spam emails and attachments, or by clicking on dubious links and ads.

What you can do to ensure your safety is to make sure you get any software updates from official and reliable sources only. Don’t just blindly trust a suspicious pop-up that is urging you to follow a link in order to update a program on your computer. More often than not, such update notifications turn out to be fake. We also recommend opting for a Custom or Advanced type of installation when downloading content from the internet, so as to easily deselect any suspicious looking programs or applications that you never needed in the first place.

Trojan Horses are considered by many users to be the most dangerous virus out there. Why? Because there is no limit to what damages they are able to do. Ad attacks are nothing compared to their true potential. Thanks to this virus, hackers can easily not just monitor any activity of yours on the computer, but also spy on you through your web camera and microphone. Creepy, right? What’s more, victims to this malicious parasite can become an easy target for other viruses. It won’t be hard for cyber criminals to open backdoors in your system, in order to spread other viruses like ransomware, worms, adware, browser hijackers, spyware, etc.

At some point of the destructive behavior of this Trojan Horse, your computer will fail to run normally. You won’t just experience constant system crashes. It is very possible for the blue screen of death to pop up. The existence of this virus on your computer will lead to severe damages that will leave you unable to use your PC in any way.
