And, the commercials you see don’t look random, do they? No. They look like they have been selected for you and you alone. Isn’t this strange? Not really. The PUP knows you better than you think. It studies you and knows what you like and what you have searched for. Then, it uses this information to generate ads which appeal to you. But your browsing interests are not the only thing that gets monitored.

Your privacy is jeopardized too. This includes usernames, password, IPs, email addresses, accounts. Even your personally identifiable and financial credentials may get stolen. If this happens, what do you think the PUP will use them for. It will send it to it developers who can use them for whatever they want. Or, they can sell them to third parties. There is no need of explaining why and how this is dangerous, is there? And what is worse, your problems don’t stop here.

Yes, the privacy issue is your biggest concern but there is more. The ads you are tricked to click also hide risks. They are sponsored and clicking on the wrong one can result in you downloading more infections on your computer, which by the way, it is already suffering because of Foxiebro and its shenanigans. Your PC slows down significantly as the PUP uses lots on computer recourses. It lags often. Some older machines may even crash completely. The last thing you need is more malware. How did Foxiebro manage to get in? This PUP is still a program and it needs your permission to enter and operate. Do you remember giving it? Probably not because Foxiebro tricked you into doing so. It still asked for approval but in the sneakiest way possible. Have you downloaded bundled programs recently? If you have, the PUP probably arrived in one of them. Let us ask you this: do you opt for the Custom settings when installing programs of for the Basic ones? If you usually choose the Basic options you need to change your habits.

Always opt for the customized ones. Yes, they take more time but they also allow you to see the entire bundle and all the “bonus” apps which are about to be installed. Moreover, you are able to deselect all additionally attached programs and then continue installing the app you originally wanted. We strongly suggest that you do, in fact, remove all extras as they are usually malicious. If you truly needed them, you would have downloaded them by now. Don’t let crooks dupe you. Be cautious and keep your PC safe.
